Humilladero Church in Pamplona, Colombia stands stately and majestic, inviting passersby to enter its doors to worship, contemplate, and pray.

Originally the entrance to the cemetery was not going to be part of this drawing, but the sun was hot and bright the day I arrived at the cathedral with my drawing materials, so I crossed the street, to the only shady location with a good view of the cathedral which also happened to be right in front of the cemetery entrance. This was fortunate, as I was pleased with the inclusion of the elegant cemetery entrance in the composition.
