Artist's Description
The locals were not always endeared to these birds. Not just because Pavas (the birds in this drawing) have a great appetite for bananas, but also due to their ability to make a tremendous ruckus with their calls in the early hours of the morning. They are here portrayed in the middle of one of their mischievous feasts.
